The Fédération des Francophones de Saskatoon and the hockey team 'Les combines' will be organizing the 15
th Fransaskois Hockey Championships. The tournament begins on Saturday morning and ends on Sunday afternoon with a great finale that will be commentated and sent on the air as live broadcast by Radio-Canada.
The teams arrive on Friday evening and will be accomodated and hosted by the francophone community in Saskatoon after a special 5 à 7.
We are one of the very few, Fransaskois Hockey Championships entirely francophone hockey tournament throughout the western provinces. Furthermore, the program offered by the local communities in addition to the tournament constitutes a great opportunity for the participants to get acquainted with the francophone community in Saskatoon. Hockey is a very popular and significant medium among the young members of our community and this event gives them the unique opportunity to experience a tournament in French.
