[ Education ]In Saskatchewan, the obligatory school year starts with Kindergarden, at the age of 5 years. Before the school education begins, parents must find their own services for the care of their children at their own cost. Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) : The Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology (SIAST) is Saskatchewan's primary public institution for skills training and technical education, recognized nationally and internationally.
